cosm10HAND CREAM | LIP & CHEEK TINT | CC CREAM | DRY SHAMPOO | FACE CLEANSING PADS | SHINE SPRAY | RESTORE MASK

My seven top beauty staples that I’ll be using this summer… All snagged from my favorite local shop, The Cosmetic Market.

MALIN + GOETZ: Hand creams are the one product I probably use most consistently. I’ve been using MALIN + GOETZ for 6 months now and have never been happier. Oil free, residue free, natural almond fragrance, vitamin b5 infused. From someone thats tried a fair amount, this is it!

LIP & CHEEK TINT: I’m always looking for products that can be used on multiple areas. The more I can do to minimize the make-up routine, the better. Luckily, this guy covers both lips and cheeks and does it well.

CC CREAM: After trying multiple moisturizers and brightness and never seeing any real results I think I’ve become skeptical and jaded with the whole process. SO thankful a friend recommended Smashbox’s Camera Ready CC Cream. Definitely counters my dark spots and helps even my complexion…possibly contributed to my severe lack of sleep. Working on that though.

DRY SHAMPOO: I dread washing my hair just about as much as I do folding clothes. I’ll do anything to avoid it. Definitely abuse this product more than I should.

FACE CLEANSING PADS: I’m still biased to just simple Cetaphil face cleanser, however these pads are ideal when traveling, at the gym, late at night, or just whenever you’re short on time.

RESTORE MASK: Living Proof Mask is a new product I’ve been using for the past month now. I use it weekly and can already tell a difference after just four applications. The verdicts still out, but I think it’s a keeper!

I’m hardly an expert, but I do know what I like! Have you used any of these products? What’s your experience with them?

  1. I received a sample of the smash box cc cream with my beauty purchase at Nordstrom and was in love after that one use!

My go-to dry shampoo, though, is most definitely the Detox dry shampoo from Dry Bar. They don’t have a location in Nashville but you can purchase it on their website. I have naturally platinum blonde hair that’s very fine and gets oily after only a few hours – this stuff is my savior! I no longer have to wash my hair every day and the bottle usually last me a whole month! Highly recommend trying 🙂

  2. I totally agree about the Smashbox Camera Ready CC cream. I received a sample of it from Sephora and loved it so much I bought a whole bottle of it last weekend. So easy & fast to apply, and the finish is flawless, lightweight and doesn’t even look like you’re wearing makeup (except of course that your skin looks stunningly beautiful!)

  3. Love seeing a peek inside other women’s beauty bag, one of my favorite posts. Will definitely have to give some of these a try. I’m going to Nashville in a few weeks for a work trip, hopefully I have some free time to stop by this store!

  4. I ordered the lip & cheek tint! I’ve been wanting some, but not sure on which brand to go with. Once I saw it was from a smaller, growing business, I had to sympathize and buy some from up here in Pittsburgh!
