There seems to be a fairly clear message circulating this season about holiday dressing- understated is a snooze, bold looks are applauded.

A statement heel, a spangly jacket, a shimmery satin top . . . Evening separates are my answer to most party invites.

WOW pieces that can be mixed and matched for the rest of the 2016 social commitments, and packed for planned travel in the New Year. Farfetch  has an incredible selection of inspired pieces.

The sparkly blazer- a classic silhouette in all-over sequins, this Tagliatore jacket can be worn day or night. Depending upon the occasion- basic blue denim tones down the dazzle, while the velvet turns up the volume for night.

The pointy toe pump- this chunky metallic heel by Margiela is both practical and party worthy. The green and gold combo feels fun and festive.

The drape back top- a good cami can be irreplaceable, especially if you have a penchant for purchasing jackets. This paneled top by Dion Lee has a simple low V in front, but major drama in the back, the draping is a total knockout!

Cheers! xx M
