For the last two years I’ve majorly lusted over Balenciaga’s Buckle Boot. I’ve attempted multiple similar styles in efforts to resist, however, this only made my desire that much greater. Let me just say, face to face with them, you will not walk away…or at least I couldn’t. All logic and will power no longer exist. Add a glass of wine and Vegas to the equation and here we are. Good thing I sold old for new to aid in this investment! Magical, iconic, major milestone …it was all of that.

Jeffrey Campbell makes a nearly identical boot to the Balenciagas. I wonder if it’s worth posting a link to them for those of us who can’t indulge in the Balenciaga boots, but want the look?

I love all the cut out boots you have been wearing, but I have a question. What kind of sock could you wear under them? I would be hesitant to wear a shoe like this because don’t your bare feet get sweating one you’re inside? I’m a mom so I feel like I’m always sweating while chasing my twins around! I don’t see how I could wear anything under them and keep it hidden. Would you ever wear these with tights? However, wearing tights would defeat the purpose of seeing the cut out right? I’m just confused about how to wear these regularly and get good use out of them. Thanks for the help in advance! I love your blog!
