I’m sure you aren’t surprised…plaid is becoming quite the predicament around here. There is something so fun and intriguing about re-wearing an old piece or bringing back a dated trend. I think it’s all about the memories that return once you reminisce the original encounter. Plaid always makes me think of this navy/white cotton plaid jumper I probably wore for 3 years a child. I possibly had it in multiple sizes (lets hope). I specifically remember wearing it while playing in the gaping hole where our new swimming pool was being built. Rare occasion for my dad to even be taking pictures, yet I somehow managed to find my way in every shot that day…dirt stained white and two missing buttons. This is all very similar to the other day when I rolled across Blessid Union of Souls from 97. I’m on the 4th day of repeat…intermixed with a little Birdy.
PS-this scarf is basically my perfect interior dream…burlap wool with a poppy red. It adds an entire new element of texture, and I’m loving it against the plaid!
