It was a complete dream experience getting to have the incredible Caroline Herrera as the presenting designer for Nashville’s Symphony Fashion Show. As a long time admirer/massive fan girl, this evening was one I will never forget.
My night started in a intimate room chatting with the incredible host for the evening, Holly Williams, and admiring beauty Sara Evans and her two daughters, all decked out in Carolina Herrera gowns. As Carolina entered the room voices quieted and heads turned. Posing on the step and repeat and greeting each person so delicately, I was taken back even more. Just as House of Herrera, she is poised, sophisticated, and lovely.
We then headed backstage for a final edits and a quick sneak peek. Drifting down the line of models, Mrs. Herrera made small adjustments as the girls awaited their walk. Watching her perfect each piece while sharing laughs with the models was my favorite memory of all.
Just as the show started I found my seat in the upper deck box sitting with an excited Herrera team ready for go time! The silhouettes absolutely stole the show. Think drifty fabrics literally just floating off the body, sheer paneling capturing both elegance and sensuality, and a sweet playfulness with 3D floral detailing. Not one detail was left forgotten. Truly one of the most beautiful collections I’ve ever seen. I can’t wait to get into Nashville’s Gus Meyer to try a few of these pieces on for myself. That rich fuchsia midi at the top of my list!
Very special thanks to Carolina Herrera and her team. The Symphony Fashion Show was truly an exquisite night and one Nashville won’t forget. Thank you for letting me be apart of it. xx
