So excited to finally share some of my top favorites from Santorini. Looking back at these pics brings the best memories. So happy I got to visit this amazing place. The views, the people, the food…and again, the views, the views, the views! Hard to know where to even begin with recommendations but here’s the best of our week…

Santo Winery- This is a must do! Largest winery in Santorini with the most breathtaking views! We took a short cab from Oia in the afternoon and stayed through sunset. We did the 18 glass sampler for 35 Euros which included some yummy snacks — cheese, crackers, olives, tomato tapenade, and hummus! One of my favorite activities– definitely make time for this one!

Hike to Fira- 3 hr hike from Oia to Fira. Grab your sneakers, bottle of water, and some comfy clothes..you’ll love it! We stopped at a little drink stand half way between Oia and Fira at a beautiful lookout. Would absolutely do this again! Well worth it!

Boating – We did a 5 hour private cruise around the island visiting Red and Black Beach, volcanic hot springs, and a few other historical spots. Our excursion was from 3-8pm with sunset bbq and wine included. The meal was so delicious and we had the best tour guys! We booked with Santorini Yacht Club. The private option was kinda expensive since it was just two of us so I would recommend getting a group of 4-5. The boat is plenty big enough.

As for food, I literally didn’t have a bad bite. Thank you so much for all the restaurant recommendations on Instagram. We bad a blast venturing around trying them all. Best advice I can give you is EAT EVERYTHING!

Some of my favorite few…

  1. Amoudi Bay in Oia- amazing little restaurant right on the water. You actually walk down the cliff path to get there. Incredible views of the sea, fresh seafood, MUST do!
  2. Ambrosia in Oia – one of my favorite places we tried. Very small and quaint. Definitely recommend getting a reservation! I had the sliced fillet of veal layered with roast tomatoes and goat’s
    cheese…it was beyond!!
  3. Pk Cocktail Bar in Fira– We visited this bar after our 3hr hike to Fira. The sunset here is beautiful!
  4. Melitini in Oia — This is also a must try! We ate here for lunch one day and it was so yummy. Rooftop, Greek tapas, and great service. I would have eaten here twice if we’d had time.
  5. Pelekanos in Oia — amazing Sangria and rooftop deck! Perfect for sunset!
  6. Lolitas Gelato in Oia – go here everyday! Best gelato in Oia! I had the gelato shake on my last day. It was delicious!
  7. Hungry Donkey in Oia – yummy Crepes! Try the Hungry Donkey if you’re in the mood for a Greek crepe.

Lastly, many of you guys raved about the ATV ride around the island. Really wish we would have had time for this. We saw tons of people riding them around the island and it looked like a blast. Definitely something I would do if I get to visit again!

Anddd if you are looking for an amazing airbnb you have to check out the one we stayed in. It was a dream! These pictures don’t do it justice!

Anything else to add for those who have been?! There is truly so much to go do and see in Santorini. It is by far one of the most special places I have ever been. I’m already looking forward to the day I get to go back!

Hope you guys are having a great week! xx M
