ROMPER SPELL & THE GYPSY COLLECTIVE (I AM WEARING AN XS) | BOOTS ISBAEL MARANT | BAG CHANEL | SUNGLASSES RAY BAN

A few shots from earlier this week with some great friends… Thankfully they agreed to help me in an upcoming project that John and I will be sharing this Friday on Happily Grey. A few teasers…60 seconds, 4 watches, The Walker by Fitz and the Tantrums!!

So this romper… I spotted this Spell Designs playsuit a few weeks back and was totally sold on the bold print. They’ve got a strong boho/rocker vibe which is all I want in the warmer months. I would recommend ordering down a size. I almost always wear a small in rompers or jumpsuits because of the stride, however, I went with the XS in this one.

I think I’ve shared my complex with jumpsuits/rompers before. Everything is really cute and great until your out and have to use a public bathroom… next thing you know your completely naked and feeling somewhat exposed. It always makes me laugh/triple check if I’ve locked the door. Am I the only way who feels this way?

I mulled through a few stores and chosen my favorites. Any good?

  1. These colors and patterns are stunning. The textured boots accent the romper perfectly and offer a darker tone to the burnished orange. The gold chained purse and chunky wrist accessories offer the perfect balance of modern to this boho chic look.

  2. I avoided rompers for a long time, but after grabbing one this spring I’m a total convert. I love the easy style of this one, and the colors are so perfect for a summer evening. Something about a romper with sleeves (mine is long sleeved) makes it feel more complete to me. Love this look!

  3. You look fabulous! Love the romper and the heels!
I couldn’t agree more about bathroom breaks in rompers –terrible! I once was in Mexico at an outdoor theater performance and went bra-less under the romper. When I went to the bathroom, I realized they too were outside and had a window from the waist up… I was praying no one walked by when I was sitting :||||

  4. I’ve been a fan of rompers and jumpsuits for quite some time. Dress them up or down and it’s a success regardless! If you have curves like I do – don’t be afraid! And the shoes-delicous! Love this blog!

  5. Uuuuuuuuuuuuum I couldn’t agree with you more about the feeling naked in the bathroom with a romper. The worst is when you are wearing your sticky bra (NuBra) and you are hovering using the restroom praying that you locked the door. Sorry probably TMI.

  6. I eat at Taco Mamacita every time I’m in town! Love the romper – I wish that style suited me better because this one is too cute!
