TOP VALENTINE VALENTINE (NASHVILLE DESIGNER AMANDA VALENTINE- SIMILAR HEREHERE, HERE, & HERE) SKIRT ASOS/SHOES VALENTINO/BAG C/O GIGI NEW YORK/BRACELETS ALEX & ANI/WATCH MICHAEL KORS/SUNGLASSES RAY BAN; FIT: SKIRT RUNS TRUE TO SIZE; I AM WEARING A TWO.

Plaids have always had this weird influence over me. Even as a child. I was the kid that didn’t mind the cheesy red and green plaid christmas sweaters, loved a big bow…if it was plaid, and I specifically remember a navy plaid jumper I saved to wear till Thursdays every week.  Not sure the relevance of Thursday, but it was always a big outfit day in my book. Anyhow, not much has changed. I spotted this plaid midi on ASOS and immediately thought leather and rockstuds. Sweet (maybe a little homespun) and edgy…this combination is always preference.

Other news…Gigi New York’s personalized python arrived last week. It was even better than I had imagined it. Something about the black python with the gold lettering just does it for me. The shape is perfect and the leather is crazy soft but still holds a great shape. I’m a huge new fan. Thanks Gigi New York!

As you know NYFW is still full force.  My life is deliberately and willingly operating around style.com’s massive amounts of coverage. Recent favorites: Christian Siriano, Rebecca Taylor (baby blue perforated leather!), and Misha Nonoo. I’ll be pinning my favorites later today so check on my Runway board. Thanks so much for reading. As always, your support is so appreciated! Have a great Sunday everyone!

  1. This is adorable. I have such a nostalgic love for plaid, too! Those festive winter/holiday plaids are still some of my favorites! I love that you paired the preppy plaid with the edgy leather top! Gorgeous!
