Miles’ Smiles
PersonalI’ve shared with you guys that I actually started my career as a nurse and still have a BIG heart for patient care. With that, I had been brainstorming ideas how to tie in my background into HG Heart – the charity arm of Happily Grey. I started HG Heart as a way to give back and loved the idea that somehow, my experience as a nurse could tie in.
I always get tons of comments and messages about Miles and his larger than life personality — he is a totalll ham — ha! But in THE BEST way :). And I started thinking that if he could bring the same joy he brings us to other people, this could be the perfect fit!! SO…we started Miles’ Smiles!
Miles started training to get therapy certified so he can visit hospitals, schools and nursing homes (he JUST received his certification – GO BIG GUY!!) and Allie has been his biggest cheerleader. Miles’ Smiles feels like a total blending of worlds.
Last month, Miles had his first trip to Seacrest Studios at Monroe Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital and we’re going back TODAY! Hard to put into words what it meant to meet all the kiddos and their amazing families last time we visited. And we can’t wait to get to see them again :).
ALSO – I got SO many messages from you guys about our shirts last time we were there, so we decided to make them available to you guys surrounding each of our visits! ALL proceeds going to benefit Seacrest Studios!! You guys have the biggest hearts and continue to amaze me :).
