My StyleWith Fourth of July just around the corner, I wanted to share with you guys some of my go-to staples for the holiday weekend. I’ve narrowed it down to my top five for an effortless summer look – the hero hat, the beach bag, the summer slide, the little white dress, and the classic denim short. For holidays, I tend to lean into a more classic/clean pieces while still showing my patriotic spirit :)) Let me know you favs!

The Hero Hat
The perfect accessory for your holiday weekend getaway. Whether at the beach, at the lake, or spending time outside with friends and family, a hat can be the perfect accent to elevate your look and keep you shaded for long hours exposed to the sun. Sharing a few of my favs below.
Basic Beach Bag
My go to for carrying all my summer essentials. I love an oversized beach bag because I don’t have to worry about weather or wear and I can throw everything I need in one spot – sunscreen, sunglasses, wallet, phone, keys, snacks – it holds it all (which may be a bad or good thing for my organizational habits – ha!).
Summer Slides
Slides for summer are my go to – they’re functional (as a mom I love that I can easily slip them on and off when I’m on the go), but also the perfect addition to a denim short or dress for a more casual look. Sharing my favs below!
Little White Dress
My favorite staple for any Fourth of July plans. I love a white dress because it feels fitting for the holiday without having to wear Red and Blue or the flag. And it can easily transition from day to night – perfect for a backyard get together, time on the beach etc. Whatever you have planned, I feel like there’s a white dress that fits the occasion. Sharing some that I have my eye on below!
Classic Denim Short
A good pair of cutoff denim is one of my favorite looks for summer because it’s effortless. But finding a pair you love and that also fits well is HARD. I’ve rounded up a few of my favorites, perfect for summer from brands I’ve found consistently fit and LAST! I still have my favorite pairs of denim shorts from years ago. These are perfect to throw over a suit or pair with a basic tee.
