When I set my intentions for the year, travel made the list.  It always does.  And probably always will.

Discovering a new city fills me with ideas and a fresh perspective, inspiration to last long after I’ve returned home.

What better way to start 2017 than with a quick trip to wander Spain?!  We started in Madrid, my first time, but certainly not the last!

We were lucky enough to stay at the insanely beautiful Gran Melia Palacio de los Duques while we explored Madrid. Between the breathtaking paintings by the famous Spanish artist Velazquez, rooftop views, and some of our favorite tapas, all trip it was tempting to not just spend our days soaking up the hotel scene. We were already planning our return before our time ended.

After a few days we headed south to the coast…one of the most enchanting cities I’ve ever seen…Seville. Cobbled, narrow streets, cozy cafes, and the famous flamenco dancing….we did not want to leave. It stole my heart the same way Lagos, Portugal did…somewhat of the same feel. We spent our time in Seville venturing around with one of my best friends and fellow blogger, Sarah from Collagevintage!!! Together we saw Plaza Espana, Real Alcazar de Sevilla, and shared multiple meals at our favorite restaurant -Casablanca.  Always helps having a local to show you the ropes! =)

Spain left me rested and energized, and I’ll need it!   Next stop is Fashion Week- first to LA for a few shows, then NYC, MAYBE LONDON, 100% Paris . . . and I’m still trying to figure out how to fit in Milan?!  That’s the dangerous part about travel, it can be addictive.  xx M

  1. Your photos are breathtaking! I love the first outfit – the jeans, sweater, and sneakers combo. So simple yet the cut of everything is perfection. But then on the opposite end, that 2nd skin dress is so glamorous and sumptuous, it’s positively stunning.

As for Seville… it’ll also have to be on my list!

I was wondering about your worn outfits… what do you do to your clothes once used?
