Summer Market Veggies

Friday, July 24th, 2020

Afternoons at the Farmer’s Market have become one of my favorite weekly traditions with Navy. There’s one just down the street from our house – they have the BEST produce and Navy girl loves to explore. My brother is a huge gardener so I’ve always loved having fresh produce.

Mad and I have been cooking more since March (anyone else??!!) and fresh ingredients make ALL the difference. I wouldn’t call myself a chef by any means – but it’s been something we do together each night in he midst of all the crazy.

This trip to the market we picked up some fresh okra, summer squash, tomatoes and zucchini. I also grabbed some peaches…can never pass them up this time of year :).

A lot of you guys asked what we made out of our market picks – this time I roasted the okra on a pan with some olive oil, salt and pepper (one of my fav ways to eat it!), and sautéed the rest of the veggies in a pan with garlic and onions. Sometimes simple is best :). Any other recipes you love? Sharing a few others I’m planning on trying soon below!

  1. Nowadays, it’s the summer season. Summer has a great effect on the skin of children. We want children to be dressed in a way that they are comfortable. We haveBaby Rompers, t-shirts, and polo shirts that keep your kids very comfortable in the heatstroke. T-shirts are made of super soft cotton and are available on this website. Visit this website and enjoy a great shopping experience.

  2. Absolutely love these pictures and that you’ve captured sweet moments like this with your baby girl. Thank you for sharing them with all of us! If you’re ever needing a photographer for lifestyle shoots like this I’d love to help you out.
