All Modern Home Tour

It’s hard to believe we’re coming up on almost a yeearrr since we moved into our house! We moved in this past January, and started construction almost a full year prior. But all the time and effort spent designing and building was definitely worth the wait! It’s our dream home – even more so now that Navy is here :). Since we’ve had time to settle in and figure out our flow with Navy, I wanted to give you guys a closer look at a few of my favorite spaces.

I love how every aspect of the home is a reflection of who we are. We wanted the design to be modern without losing any warmth – we used All Modern to furnish and decorate a lot of the house – so everything flows really well together. My previous house utilized more grey and cold tones. While this home still has a contemporary vibe, it was important to us for it to still feel inviting – and of course Great Dane and baby friendly ;). The earthy tones throughout the house really achieve that.

The music room is one of my favorite spaces in the whole house. We were able to incorporate so much texture – leather, marble, brick and wood – so the room feels really dynamic.

With Mad being a music agent and us living in Nashville, we both love music. It was special to include such a unique element in our home that reflects that. We have a bar cart set up with a record player and vinyl, and art of some of our favorite musicians on the walls. We love that we can have a drink here, put on a record and enjoy that experience together.

My favorite piece in the space is our leather couch from All Modern. It has such a rich tobacco color, and against the dark contrast of the green wall. It’s the wow piece in the room.

Mad and I both work a lot, so I wanted the master bedroom to be a space where we could unwind from the day. One of my favorite parts of the room is this amazing custom wood accent wall – all credit to my designer April Tomlin! We used a lot of neutrals to make the space feel approachable and cozy.

One hack to note for the custom wood paneling — it can be expensive depending on ceiling height and how far up the wall the wood installation runs. If you want the look but for a lot less try wallpaper! We considered doing this while on the hunt for a carpenter who could do the job!

This outdoor space is PERFECT for friends and family to just come and hang out. It’s been the best way to spend our summer nights – but now that fall is here, I love to start my mornings here with a cup of coffee and a blanket. Anyone else??

  1. I love the bedding in your master. When I click on shop the room it brings me to a plain linen duvet but your is quite different with the cute frayed fabric on it. Do you know where I could it?

  2. Your bedding in the master is fantastic! Love it so much. Could you please share where it’s from? Specifically the two larger pillows in back with that little bit of texture (not the woven ones)? I’ve scoured your social media and can’t seem to find a link or information for that particular item. Sorry if I missed it!

  3. Indeed, the interior design of your apartment is fantastic. The dark interior in one of your rooms is impressive and reminds me of my coworking Stockholm working space. It has a cosy and productive atmosphere at the same time.
