Welcome to Music City and my home for the past 8 years! Anyone who knows me knows how proud I am to live in Nashville. While I love that my job allows me to travel and see the world, nothing beats coming home to Nashville. From the music, to the food, to four true seasons… This city is unlike any other. There are many amazing places I want to share with you that make Nashville so special, but most importantly… it’s the people. I have met some of the kindest, most genuine soles that will go on to be life long friends. The warmth, kindness, and welcoming hearts of the people here is a true rarity and makes this culture is so special.
As one of the fastest growing cities in our nation, it’s been exciting to watch Nashville expanding to new markets and growing both culturally and creatively. There’s a lot to do so plan for a long weekend at least!
Known for creative margarita variations & Mexican fusion dishes as well as festive patio.
My alllll time fave any day of the week! The Garganelli Verde is SO yummy!
One of my new obsessions in Germantown! Favorite favorite!! Amazing cocktails and incredible oysters on a summer night! They actually did an oyster bar at our wedding. Favorite thing on the menu is the cauliflower bread loaf and beet risotto. The aesthetic is beautiful as well.
If you’re looking for FRESH and local, look no further than this gem in Lockeland Springs. Farm to table community style dining. Try the pappardelle with butternut squash cream!
A quaint East Nashville spot for a stellar weekend brunch! Love how they highlight local and seasonal products. Both the farm salad + frittata (when available) are great…. alsooo table side mimosas are fun with a crew!
Chic, modern outpost featuring Japanese small plates, ramen & sushi, plus craft cocktails & a patio.
Tex-mex favorite with the BEST street tacos in the city! Casual vibe with a neighborhood feel. Great for a chill date night or fun place to meet friends for a quick bite.
Everything on the menu is great but specifically love the butternut squash, carrots, Turkish hummus
Best almond latte in town! Fave spot to stop in and grab to-go, or work from communal tables. Also fun black and white mural out front for pics. =)
Arguably one of the most well-done cocktail bars in Nashville. Speakeasy style, moody vibe, small interior. You’ll likely have to wait a bit to get in as they seat each person. Try the one fish two fish if you’re feelin something a little sweet. Don’t forget to sign the book when they deliver your check!
Awesome spot in Edgehill right near Taco Mamacita. Dimly lit interior, good ambiance, and unique drinks. Easy to walk over after dinner for a quick drink or two!
Super eclectic vibe with a great cocktail selection. Last time I was there I got the rose – They only have one kind and it was one of the best I’ve had! Can’t go wrong here either way!
Another fun latte spot near downtown! Love to go during a sunny day and sit on the patio… great view of the skyline. Try the avocado toast!
Set in a ca. 1900 blacksmith shop in Nashville’s historic Germantown neighborhood, Geist is a charming bar and restaurant opened in early 2018. Familiar experience with a timeless approach to internationally-influenced cuisine and classic cocktails highlighting the best ingredients found regionally.
Super quaint downtown a quick drive south of the city! Loads of great places to eat good Southern food, shop, and sip wine on an outdoor patio.
Talk about dreamyyy. A lovely family owned and operated farm about 30 minutes south east of the city. Particularly love the Airbnb loft onsite— the perfect spot for a night away!!
Custom letterpress shop downtown. They use 19th century techniques to create posters and flyers… Love how unique and organic they turn out and so fun to watch the magic happen.
Cutest spot ever.. Basically a food truck for FLOWERS. They announce on their Instagramwhere they are going to pop up that day – usually outside of a cute coffee shop or a hot spot on 12 South. Grab yourself a bouquet while you’re in town!
If you’re in the mood to do a little digging, this is a cool spot for vintage finds in East Nashville. Eccentric decor, clothing and furniture!
This little getaway space is truly unique… Each room has it’s own (enormous) copper or metal bathtub – It’s unbelievable! The ambience and décor is rustic chic and feels VERY Nashville. I definitely recommend this spot for a romantic weekend, or even just for dinner/drinks at their restaurant – Public House.
